Summer School in Applied Human Nutrition 2019

The School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition was co-organizer of the Summer School in “Applied Human Nutrition”, together with NNEdPro Global Centre for Nutrition and Health and l’Institute of Continuing Education of the University of Cambridge.

From the 5th to 9th July 2019, in the magnificent location of the Homerton College of the University of Cambridge , 24 students from all around the world attended an intensive five day Summer School.  The course provides in depth exposure to Applied Human Nutrition including basic concepts in human nutrition; nutritional research methods; nutrition in healthcare and nutrition public health and policy.

Most of the Students came from Italy, followed by attendees from Belgium, Romania, UK, Singapore, The Netherland, Qatar, USA, Germany, Greece, Albania, Sweden e Bangladesh.
The University of Parma was the most represented institution, with 5 master or PhD students.
