Adriana Ianieri

Adriana Ianieri is full Professor in Inspection and Hygiene of Food of Animal Origin (SSD-VET04) at University of Parma. She directed research lines in the Food Safety field, with particular attention to sanitary and inspection problems relating to food of animal origin. She oriented her research towards food hygiene, food safety and food quality, with a strong focus on sanitary and inspection issues, relating to food-borne pathogens and spoilage bacteria. She is a member of the scientific committee of experts of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies (MIPAAF). Since 2008, she has been a member of National Committee of Food Safety (CNSA) – Italian Ministry of Health. To date, she is a member of the Superior Health Council of Italian Ministry of Health. Since 2014, she was elected the Head of Section IV within the Superior Health Council of Italian Ministry of Health.
