EFSA Parma Summer School 2023

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) – in collaboration with the University of Parma, the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition, and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Piacenza – is organising the 2023 Parma Summer School.
Over the course of the three-day program, participants will explore safety evaluation aspects of novel food and feed sources through a multifaceted lens, encompassing risk management, risk assessment, and societal considerations, drawing upon various disciplines, with particular attention to the EU legislative framework, sustainable food systems, alternative proteins and consumers’ perception of innovative foods.
